Creating a brand experience is a major key factor in building a strong and successful business in today’s world. With the rise of social media and entrepreneurship and decline of storefronts - this shift makes complete sense. Branding is growing in importance because at the end of the day, even if consumers are behind a screen, they still crave an experience and relationships. Think about how you shop and where you invest.

So where do you start?

While creating your personal brand with Stylist and a Brand Photographer, keep these key branding foundations pieces in mind to help elevate your entire experience.

1. Visual Identity and Brand Personality: This is step one and definitely not one to skip! A simple swoosh with the words "Just Do It, " means so much to us today. Why? Because it is a brand that wasn't willing to sacrifice its visual identity. The visual identity has the power to create your brand's personality. It's not just about a logo, but a palette for your colours, typefaces and overall feel. Assisting in creating a look that is true to you! It's not something that changes every few years. It's concrete that's why the process is key. I take about 4-6 weeks to create a visual identity in full, and within that time I love to sit down with you to explore your brand goals, and how we are going to set you up for the next 15 years. Longevity is key because brands that change every day are not consistent and easily forgettable.

2. Branded Website:  When you're creating a brand experience it's important to have a place where people can land. Your website is your brand's home, it's important that this speaks volumes and allows you to take a deeper dive to share with the audience who you are, what your goals are and how you plan on getting there. You may have a massive social media following but without a website, you don't own any of it. Creating a website gives you a platform for your mailing lists and a blog following (that you OWN). And it’s a fact that fans who follow your blog or are on your list will most likely invest with you!

3. Digital Marketing Strategy: Followers are not the key to the game, engagement is and that’s why your strategy needs to be branded to be memorable. This is the initial hello and introduction to your brand experience. We live in a society that likes to search and get to know you---only then will they invest with you, and that's why having a strong digital strategy can truly elevate your brand experience.

Branding doesn't stop there... your end product, how you present yourself, even your packaging plays off of branding however these are the foundation pieces you need to build, in order to create the rest.

Overall what is most important is that these foundation pieces work hand in hand to create a cohesive brand experience. Only then will you be able to connect to your niche and build a strong and successful business.
