New Year is here and January is almost over! For many of us the beggining of the new year is a great time to update our look.

This photoshoot with Christie Ressel features four lovely looks that I hope will inspire you to dress in a way that empowers you!

This second look brings back the 70s! Christie loves bell-bottom jeans and blazers and I have to say it’s a look that will always stay timeless.

Christie’s third outfit is such a good reminder to wear colour in winter. It’s an instant mood lifter, which we all need during long, Canadian winters…

Christie’s last look was quite special because all the items come from… Walmart! Yes, it may be hard to believe at first but a great stylist can find lovely outfits everywhere.

Holiday Season is here and we were so lucky we had the dreamiest setting for Christie Ressel’s December Photoshoot!

This next look really proves you can wear white after Labour Day!

If you need fall outfit inspiration, this photoshoot is for you.

Stylist & Youtuber Christie Ressel always brings incredible outfits to her photoshoots and this time was no different.

Keep scrolling to see five amazing outfits… the last one is my favorite!

This next outfit got me so inspired!

I simply love the combination of loose trousers (and that colour!), a blazer and comfy shoes.

I couldn’t stop photographing this next outfit…

It’s simply so unique. Sometimes we go for the same styles and colours in fall and this combo shows is truly doesn’t have to be this way. Pale pink beret and culottes paired with vintage pattern shirt and glam accessories make this outfit IMPOSSIBLE to miss.

Christie’s next look proves how great it is to have a Capsule Wardrobe.

I had a chance to photograph all items from this outfit in several looks before and every outfit had a completely different vibe.

This last look is simply Christie… she loves gold and luxurious fabrics & it shows in the photos!

Fall is here!

I’m beyond excited to share our latest fashion photoshoot of Christie Ressel with you. Fall is Christie’s favorite season, so I couldn’t wait to see her fall outfits. I’m always so inspired by Christie’s styling skills and this photoshoot was one of my favorites to date.

This photoshoot reminded me you never know where the day will take you.

Two locations I planned for Christie were not available, so I had to improvise. It just so happened we drove past this incredible black & white building and it couldn’t be more perfect for this outfit:

I couldn’t stop photographing this outfit… This beautiful dress has Cali vibes all over it, especially paired with boots and a hat. Simply lovely, cozy, gorgeous, feminine and perfect for fall.

Fall is the perfect time to take out your beret out of the closet.

A beret is such a stylish accessory and I love how it has that je ne sais quoi.

Summer is in full swing!

It’s my favorite time to dress up so another photoshoot with Christie Ressel was just what I craved. Vibrant colours, fun outfits, creativity at it’s finest. I always feel so “charged” after a photoshoot with Christie, because of her positive energy.

We started off this photoshoot with a great kimono outfit. Kimonos are such a must-have this summer, they go with almost everything!

Healthy mindset is a topic that comes up often in our conversations with Christie. This time we were talking about the “Someday Mindset”. I love Christie’s thoughts on the subject:

“Oh, I’m going to buy ______ for myself when I’ve lost all of my weight.”

I’m all about creating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but I do worry about the message many are sending themselves by putting off things they deem special, investment oriented, or feel good for a body or image ideal that is somewhere down the road.

What does that mean we’re communicating to our PRESENT self?

While having goals are good, it’s also JUST as important to love and appreciate yourself AS YOU ARE while you embark on your lifestyle journey. .

Just because your jeans size may not be your ideal, doesn’t mean you hold any less value.

You are beautiful.

You are valuable.

You are worthy of all the things you desire; now and in the future”

We finished off this photoshoot with one of my favorite outfits on Christie ever! The creative combination of shapes and patterns made me fall in love with this outfit.
