I’m so grateful I got to photograph Penthouse Queen Claudine Montano again. The photoshoot took place in one of her beautiful listings, which was the perfect backdrop for Claudine’s photos.

We were even able to create several iconic photos that look like postcards. They show the strength and determination of a woman with our lovely Toronto in the background.

We took countless lifestyle photos in this beautiful penthouse.

Claudine’s personality made the photoshoot even more enjoyable!

It was also the perfect time to update Claudine’s portraits.

A few months ago, we met with Stylist Christie Ressel at her lovely home for some cozy photos.

Christie is in the process of decorating her house and the space is to die for - eclectic, inspiring, filled with meaningful heirlooms.

We photographed Christie wearing beautiful white pants and a golden top with her impressive gallery wall as the backdrop.

Late Winter Fashion with Christie Ressel

And just like that, it’s the last week of February and I really hope spring is behind the corner!

One of the reasons I love working with Stylist Christie Ressel so much is because her outfits are full of joy and they make even winter better.

We started this photoshoot in a beautiful cafe where we had delicious coffee and captured super cozy photos.

Shooting in our second location was a bit interesting this time! See what Christie wrote about it:

“When you have a photo shoot scheduled, outfits prepped for dry ground, and on the day of, it snows? All you can do is laugh and roll with the punches.

Fun fact, at this location, there is normally a warm, public restroom that I’ve used to change-in for photos. However, in addition to the surprise snowfall, the bathroom was also locked. BUT, I found a small janitors closet (with no lock on it ☠️😳) and changed there instead. .
Was it glamorous? No.

But I did get a good laugh (and tested the speed of my changing).

Things don’t always go as we plan, but we always have a choice to either resist, complain, and make it a “thing”, or laugh, roll with it, and chalk it up to a quirky part of our day. .
We always have a choice.

I would much rather choose a feel good, elevated vibe, wouldn’t you?”

Christie’s last outfit is a bit unusual, because she doesn’t wear a lot of black.

She injected colour into this outfit in a beautiful and subtle way, so it’s still very much her style.

Tara & Family

I love working as a Personal Branding Photographer but when clients want to come back for photos with their family, I’m always thrilled!

I photographed Tara last year and this time she brought her sweet and smart daughter and husband for the photoshoot. It was time to capture special moments and create beautiful photographs that can be hanged on the walls, gifted to family and cherished forever.

We created beautiful photos for Tara and her family which they will treasure forever. I also made sure to take photos of Tara and her husband - my favorites were black and white.

Meet Sylvia Smith, a GTA Realtor with extended knowledge about the investment market! Sylvia’s photoshoot was bright and effortless. Lavender is her favorite colour, so we made it the accent colour for this branding photoshoot. We were very lucky - lilacs were in full bloom the week of Sylvia’s photoshoot!

As with every Branding Photoshoot, the goal was to show Sylvia's professional persona and style. Lifestyle photography done in a tastefully decorated property is always a great idea for realtors. When choosing props, we kept in mind Sylvia's brand colours in order to create a very consistent look.

5 years of solopreneurship

Hello loves! For those of you who are new to our blog and website, my name is Agnes and I’m a Photographer. My specialty is portraiture and personal branding photography for women. My superpower is making everyone comfortable in front of my lens and making them look their best.

I love sharing about my business/solopreneur journey and featuring other lovely fempreneurs on my blog. That’s because I’m very passionate about women empowerment. Things are changing in the world and I truly believe that We Rise Together.

With the 5th anniversary of my solopreneurship coming, there’s a lot of reflecting and strategizing for the future. I won’t lie to you - even though I didn’t struggle long to create a successful business, it wasn’t easy and it definitely took much more than just positive thinking. I gave it all I had!

Looking back, I can honestly say that investing in myself was the best choice I ever made. We all have talents but we also all have areas needing work and improvement. You need to spend time or money (or both) working on those areas or you will stay stuck. In my third year of entrepreneurship I finally invested into learning about marketing and business from a great mentor who also specialized in my niche. The true growth only started after that and oh my - was is fast! Things literally changed over a few months and grew from there.

It’s not easy, but I know one thing: everything is possible with a positive mindset, true passion for your work and the willingness to learn and work!
